Trade turnover of the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UZEX) increased by 21.2 percent up to 6.9 trillion soums in January-June 2017, as compared to the same period of 2016, an UZEX representative told Trend, Aug. 8.
Meanwhile, goods worth 5.4 trillion soums were sold at the exchange auctions in 1H17, which is 20.6 percent more than in the same period of 2016.
Public procurements through the UZEX trades rose by 26.5 percent to hit 315.5 billion soums.
Corporate procurements increased by 23.2 percent – up to 267.6 billion soums.
Total trade turnover of UZEX increased by 37 percent – up to 12.06 trillion soums in 2016.
The Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange was created in April 1994.
