All entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan will be exempted from inspections of financial and economic activities for a period of two years, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said in his address to the parliament on Dec.22.
The president stressed that the work of the Republican Council for Coordinating the Activities of Controlling Bodies does not meet the requirements.
He also informed about the creation of an electronic system of permits for inspections under the supervision of the General Prosecutor's Office.
"Some bureaucrats interfere in the work of entrepreneurs with regular inspections. Most of all, I regret that we can not provide them with sufficient practical support. We will not inspect them for two years. Now they will be inspected by a special department of the Prosecutor General's Office under the personal supervision of the president, "Mirziyoyev said.
This year, Uzbekistan climbed 13 positions and settled on 74th place in the Doing Business-2018 rating of the World Bank (WB) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
