As many as 81 companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in Turkey in May 2018 that is 16 companies more than in the same period of 2017, according to a report of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The report says that the total capital of Azerbaijani companies registered during May 2018 totaled 21.4 million Turkish liras, while the total capital of Azerbaijani companies that entered the Turkish market in May 2017 amounted to 26 million Turkish liras.
"In May 2018, 8,190 foreign companies were registered in Turkey, which is 33 percent more compared to May 2017," the TOBB said.
The TOBB also noted that 589 companies were closed in Turkey in May 2018.
In total, 136 Azerbaijani companies were registered in Turkey in 2017.
