GM Uzbekistan sales to Tajikistan revealed

GM Uzbekistan’s car export to Tajikistan totaled $1.3 million, Uzbek automaker Uzavtosanoat JSC stated.

According to the information, a number of new car dealers are also expected to be opened in the regions of Tajikistan.

Uzbek cars were first presented in Tajikistan in 2017 as part of the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition and the Uzbek-Tajik joint business forum in Dushanbe. In September 2017, a centralized Ravon dealer center was opened, beginning sale of Damas, Labo, Spark, Cobalt, Gentra and Nexia cars.

It was earlier reported that GM Uzbekistan JSC sold over 5,180 Ravon cars in Russia in January-May 2018, which is 40 percent more compared to the same period of 2017.

In January-May 2018, 64,190 cars were produced in Uzbekistan, which is 22.4 percent more compared to the same period of 2017.
