Korean Air to carry out charter flights to Georgia

The State Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia has approved the application of South Korean airline “Korean Air” for charter flights between South Korea and Tbilisi, reports Trend via Georgia Online.

The Korean airline will operate direct charter flights between Seoul and Tbilisi in the summer navigation season.

According to the Civil Aviation Agency, flights between the capitals of the two countries will be operated on May 30, June 13, June 27 and July 11 on an Airbus A330. Charter flights will enure the arrival of tourists in Georgia.

Korean Air operates in 44 countries in 124 destinations. The company began to carry out its charter flights in the aviation market of Georgia in 2018. Last year, the airline completed two charter flights in the direction of Seoul-Tbilisi-Seoul.
