The revenues received in January-May 2019 from mobile communication services in Azerbaijan amounted to 344.7 million manats, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
The revenues of the mobile communications sector decreased by 1.4 percent and reached 41.9 percent of total revenues of the telecommunications market in January-May 2019 compared to January-May 2018, according to the Committee.
In January-May 2019, population and organizations in Azerbaijan were provided with information and communication services worth 822.7 million manats, which is 14.9 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.
Meanwhile, 72 percent out of the total information and communication services accounted for services rendered to the population. Furthermore, 82.7 percent of the revenues received via the sector accounted for non-state enterprises.
