Uzbekistan’s car prices plummet in Russia

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 4

By Fakhri Vakilov - Trend:

In December, Uzbekistan’s Ravon car manufacturer announced a drastic reduction in car prices in Russia, Trend reports citing Uzbekistan's Uzautosanoat car manufacturing company.

At new rates, Ravon R2, previously priced from $10,067, is now offered for $9,136. The price difference was $935.

Ravon R3 Nexia fell even more noticeably - from $10,441 to $8,574. Cost decreased by $1,870.

The third model offered on the Russian market, Ravon R4, was previously sold for $10,566. Now it can be purchased for $9,400. The difference is $1,169.

Ravon has been absent from the Russian market for more than a year - from May 2018 to the end of August 2019, due to a revision of pricing policy and a change in the business model. In 2019, the company plans to sell 7,000-10,000 cars in Russia.
