Azerbaijani major manufacturer of metal structures Khirdalan Plant, owned by the Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation OJSC, will soon install lathes for processing steel blanks, the plant told Trend.
This, in turn, will contribute to an increase of production power of the plant.
Today, the annual volume of the plant is 3600 tons of metal. The enterprise intends to increase it by 300-400 tons in the medium term.
Next year, the plant will open additional production line. In particular, in the first half of 2020, two production lines are expected to be launched. There are also plans to increase the production volume of metal parts for cement plants, as well as auxiliary structures for die-casting. In order to increase the power of the plant, several types of induction furnaces with a capacity of one and two tons were installed, cold rolled machines were put into operation, the enterprise said.
The plant produces the furnaces for die-casting, heat treatment furnaces, as well as equipment of various types intended for cooling metal products, the plant said.
The Khirdalan metal construction plant has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2015.
Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation OJSC was established in August 2010 and operates in two segments - construction and production.
The corporation holds a leading position in the implementation of projects for the construction of bridges, tunnels and other road projects, residential houses and other public buildings, as well as in the production of building materials.
