BAKU, Azerbaijan, Apr.2
By Matanat Nasibova – Trend:
TITAN GROUP, an Azerbaijani manufacturer of industrial goods, has temporarily suspended its operations, the company's Commercial Director Zemfira Ismayilova told Trend.
According to the director, such a decision was taken as a necessary measure in the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection in the country.
“Our enterprise has suspended its operations through April 20. In fact, we passed to remote work regime in Nowruz holidays. During this period, appropriate preventive work was conducted. In particular, all the enterprise workshops and divisions were disinfected,” Ismayilova said.
She noted that in 2020, the corporation planned to increase the production volumes by at least 50 percent.
“Last year, the production volumes increased to 30 percent compared to the previous year. This was due to the opening of new production lines, as well as the introduction of new types of sandwich panels, refrigeration units and equipment used in the bakery industry to the domestic market. Earlier, it was planned to export certain types of products in the second half of this year, and this remains the priority in the corporation’s working agenda," the director added.
TITAN GROUP was established in 2002. The company specializes in the production of a new type of sandwich panels with polyisocyanurate foam (PIR), refrigeration equipment for commercial and industrial use, as well as equipment for catering enterprises.
The company’s branches are located in the settlement of Bulbul in Baku’s Surakhani district and in the settlement of Bina.
