Production of polypropylene packaging tapes has increased to 100 tons per month in Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to Business Turkmenistan information portal.
According to the manager of this Ashgabat-based enterprise, all equipment has been imported from China and is used for manufacturing.
With this equipment, enterprise produces tapes of various colors, from 8 through 16 millimeters wide, and from 0.5 through 1.2 millimeters thick.
The company plans to increase production due to the fact that products are in demand in Russia, Turkey and Belarus.
The production of this enterprise is 95 percent based on local raw materials.
