The production volume of companies operating under the Iranian National Steel Company (NISCO) exceeded 264,000 tons in two months of current Iranian year (March 20 - May 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
Iran National Steel Industrial Group produced 18,500 tons of steel girders in two months. The production volume was 8,690 tons in the first month (March 20-April 20) and 9,820 tons in the second month (April 21-May 20), according to the report.
The production volume of fittings of the Iran National Steel Industrial Group amounted to 36,200 tons in two months. The volume of production was 8,430 tons in the first month and 27,800 tons in the second month.
“The volume of production of steel pipes by the Iran National Steel Industrial Group amounted to 1.36,000 tons in two months. The production volume was 859 tons in the first month and 502 tons in the second month,” the report said.
According to the report, Iran Alloy Steel Company produced 22,700 tons of fittings in two months. The volume of production was 22,700 tons in the first month and 25 tons in the second month.
The production volume of other products of the Iran Alloy Company was 128 tons in two months. Thus, 64 tons of products were produced every month.
“The Azerbaijan Steel Company (operates under the Iranian National Steel Company), produced 59,100 tons of fittings in two months. The volume of production was 15,500 tons in the first month and 43,600 tons in the second month,” the report noted.
Iran's Khorasan Steel Company produced 68,400 tons of fittings in two months. The production volume was 14,500 tons in the first month and 53,900 tons in the second month.
Iranian Ahwaz Rolling and Pipe Mills Company produced 58,000 tons of galvanized rolls in two months.The volume of production was 28,000 tons in the first month and 30,000 tons in the second month, according to the report.
