Kazakhstan’s SaryarkaAutoProm cars assembling plant is planning to double manufacturing volume in 2020 compared to 2019, SaryarkaAutoProm representative told Trend.

Thus, the company official said that thus the annual cars output volume is expected to by 50,000 vehicles in 2020.

"Currently the production process is going according to plan without any changes, the planned output volumes are being produced in time. This year the company is also planning to manufacture its 100,000-th car due to a 10 years old anniversary of the plant itself," the official said.

The official also said that COVID-19 pandemic did not have serious effects on the company’s operations.

"The production of cars continued in an intensified mode during COVID-19 pandemic, in two-three shifts. Increased protective measures have been taken to prevent the spread of the virus. These measures ensured uninterrupted production, and car sales remained at the average level," the official said.

SaryarkaAvtoProm is Kazakhstan’s car manufacturer, the only plant in the country that meets the requirements of industrial assembly, within the framework of which welding, painting and body assembly operations are performed.

SaryarkaAvtoProm is also the first and only production site in Kazakhstan, which launched the production of passenger cars using the small-knot method (CKD), and also manufactures all types of vehicles.
