Kazakhstan and Czech Republish discussed possible cooperation opportunities in geological exploration and natural resources extraction, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development.
The topic was discussed during an online meeting held with representatives of the Czech Republic’s Chamber of Commerce, numerous companies. Kazakhstan was represented by officials of Ministries of Industry and Infrastructural Development; Ecology, Geology, and Natural Resources; Kazakh Invest National Company; Qazqeology National Company.
Within the framework of the meeting, Kazakh officials talked about the main points of the legislation on subsoil and subsoil use in Kazakhstan.
The issues such as the issuance of permits for the extraction of minerals, the terms of contracts for exploration and production of solid minerals, with the exception of uranium, the legal and economic examination of draft contracts for the exploration and production of solid minerals, except for uranium.
In turn, the representatives of Czech Republish expressed interest in favorable conditions for investors that are available in Kazakhstan and expressed a desire for further mutually beneficial cooperation in the area.
