Azerbaijan discloses volume of goods exported in Jan. 2021

Azerbaijan exported the products totaling $1.6 billion in January 2021, which is by 43 percent less than in 2020, Trend reports citing a report from the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.

The share of the public sector in export amounted to $441.2 million, or 22.17 percent of the total volume. The share of the private sector amounted to $1.2 billion, or 72.58 percent of the total volume. Individuals accounted for $4.09 million.

In total, Azerbaijan exported 833 items of goods and imported 4,752 items of goods, conducting foreign trade operations with 122 partner countries. Since the beginning of the year, Azerbaijan has exported most of all oil and oil products, electric power, chemical products, as well as fruits and vegetables.

Azerbaijan exported products worth $13.7 billion in 2020, which is 30 percent less than in 2019. The share of the public sector in export amounted to $6.8 billion, or 49.78 percent of the total volume. The share of the private sector amounted to $6.8 billion, or 49.77 percent of the total volume, individuals - $61.5 million.
