Turkey's activity on Turkmenistan’s exchange in Jan.2021

Turkey actively participated in the trading of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in January 2021, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.

In the first week of January, Turkey purchased cotton yarn, licorice roots and rhizomes for foreign currency at the Turkmenistan's exchange.

During the second week of January, Turkey purchased aviation kerosene, gasoline, hydrotreated diesel fuel, heating oil, petroleum bitumen, colorless sheet glass, cotton yarn and dry licorice root extract in foreign currency.

During the exchange trading in the third week of January, representatives of Turkey purchased colorless sheet glass, cotton yarn, smooth-colored, jacquard terry products and denim in foreign currency.

Also, in the third week of January, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased products in Turkmen manats, in particular, cotton yarn.

In the last week of last month, Turkey purchased total and calcined petroleum coke, colorless sheet glass and cotton yarn on the Turkmenistan stock exchange, and cotton yarn-for the Turkmen manat.

In December 2020, Turkey was also an active bidder on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

The the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
