In general, 46 manufacturing enterprises in the Golestan Province (north-eastern Iran) were put into operation within the "Government Week" in Iran (August 24 through August 30), Chairman of Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of Golestan Province Hossein Toluian said, Trend reports referring to the organization’s website.
Toluian noted that these enterprises were put into operation in 10 counties of the province - Azadshahr, Aqqala, Bandar Torkaman, Bandar-e Gaz, Kordkuy, Kalaleh, Galikesh, Gorgan, Gonbad-e Kavus, and Minudasht counties.
“A total of 3.84 trillion rials (about $91.5 million) has been spent on these enterprises and 1,130 people have been employed as a result,” the chairman added.
According to him, a number of manufacturing enterprises will be put into operation by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2022).
