Uzbekistan exported 912.6 tons of grapes to Azerbaijan from January through September 2021, Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, in the reporting period, totally nearly 140,000 tons of grapes worth $105.2 million were exported from Uzbekistan to 43 countries.
The largest volume of exports accounted for Russia (58,100 tons), Kazakhstan (44,100 tons) and Kyrgyzstan (15,300 tons).
In the first half of 2021, the grape harvest in Uzbekistan amounted to 45,400 tons.
In September, prices for grapes in Uzbekistan decreased by an average of 9.3 percent compared to August.
