TEHRAN, Iran, June 21. Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran (SEO) and the Central Bank of Yemen signed a MoU on establishing a Stock Exchange for Yemen, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Head of Iran's Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) Majid Eshghi and the governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Hashem Ismail attended the signing ceremony.
Eshghi expressed hope that the financial relations of Iran and Yemen will develop further.
One of the main articles of the mentioned MoU is the provision of infrastructure to create the stock exchange.
Iran has announced its readiness to provide consulting, technical and structural services on the project.
