BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 4. Iran's non-oil exports to neighboring countries amounted to more than 16 million tons worth about $6.74 billion, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.

According to Latifi, Iran's non-oil exports to neighboring countries increased by 20 percent in value, while decreasing by 10 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.

“So, Iran exported goods worth $1.82 billion to Iraq (a decrease of 22 percent), worth $1.74 billion to Türkiye (an increase of 192 percent), worth $1.64 billion to the UAE (an increase of 29 percent), worth $367 million to Afghanistan (a decrease of 35 percent), and worth $331 million to Oman (an increase of 168 percent) in 3 months,” he added.

The spokesman noted that Iran also exported goods worth $279 million to Pakistan (an increase of 13 percent), worth $161 million to Azerbaijan (an increase of 87 percent), worth $115 million to Russia (a decrease of 15 percent), worth $95 million to Turkmenistan (an increase of 38 percent), worth $45 million to Kuwait (an increase of 37 percent), worth $34 million to Kazakhstan (a decrease of 12 percent), worth $28 million to Qatar (a decrease of 17 percent), worth $2 million to Bahrain (an increase of 2 percent), worth $3,730 to Saudi Arabia (a decrease of 69 percent), and worth $74 million to other countries.

Latifi emphasized that in 3 months, Iran's non-oil trade turnover with neighboring countries amounted to more than 20.9 million tons worth about $12.4 billion, an increase of 18 percent in value compared to the same period last Iranian year.
