BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 3. Iran’s non-oil exports from Bushehr Province (southern Iran), increased by 57 percent in value and 10 percent in volume, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Customs Inspector of Bushehr Province Customs Office Ali Soleimani told Tasnim News Agency, Trend reports.
In total, more than 18 million tons of non-oil products worth about $9.75 billion were exported from Bushehr Province’s customs in 8 months, Soleimani said.
The official added that the main exported products were petrochemical products, mining materials, agricultural products, foodstuffs, carpets and etc. The mentioned goods were mainly exported to China, the UAE, India, the Republic of South Africa, and Pakistan.
“Thus, 16.7 million tons of petrochemical products and 1.5 million tons of mining materials were exported from the province within 8 months,” he noted.
