BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 4. The activity of 97 industrial enterprises in the industrial parks of Iran’s Khuzestan Province in the south-west of the country was resumed, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023), Director General of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization’s branch in Khuzestan Province Ali Mahdi told reporters, Trend reports citing IRNA.
“Meanwhile, in the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), the activity of 41 industrial enterprises was resumed in industrial parks of Khuzestan Province,” he said.
Mahdi added that along with the increase in employment, resuming of the activity of industrial enterprises in the province’s industrial parks results in an increase in production.
According to the director general, work is underway to eliminate the problems faced by industrial enterprises in the province (liquidity, lack of raw materials, etc.).
In general, there are 53 industrial parks in Iran’s Khuzestan Province. A total of 2,000 industrial enterprises are available in the province’s industrial parks, 400 of them are inactive.
