BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 20. Iran's non-oil exports to Kyrgyzstan increased by 19.8 percent in value and 1.5 percent in volume during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2023), compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.

According to data from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran exported 30,300 tons of non-oil products worth $40.3 million to Kyrgyzstan in 7 months.

In the same period as the previous Iranian year, Iran's non-oil exports to Kyrgyzstan stood at 29,900 tons worth approximately $33.7 million.

The main export items were petrochemical products, agricultural and industrial products, and so on.

Within the 6th month alone (September 23 through October 22, 2023), Iran exported 5,250 tons of non-oil products worth $10.9 million to Kyrgyzstan.

Overall, Iran’s overall non-oil exports reached $28.3 billion in value and 79.5 million tons in volume in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2023). Compared to the same period of the previous Iranian year, the value of non-oil exports decreased by 1 percent, while the volume increased by 29.3 percent.

Iran’s non-oil exports do not include crude oil, mazut, and white oil, which are subject to US sanctions that prevent Iran from exporting them freely. Therefore, Iran has been focusing on increasing its non-oil exports to cope with the economic pressure.
