The distant learning development system project has launched in Azerbaijan, the TACIS Coordinating Unit executive director Asker Alekperov told Trend exclusively. The project started by the financial support of the European Union.
"The project is regional and covers all three South Caucasus states. The project’s budget is 3 million euro and will be distributed between the countries on parity bases”, he noted.
The “Electronic Caucasus” project’s partner is the AzRENA company. The project has been coordinated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies and involves development of teaching programs for distant learning”, he noted. According to Alekperov, the project’s implementation is 2 years.
