Insurance company, Alfa has announced the results on insurance within a program on mortgage crediting according to the standards of the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund (AMF) in 2006 and January, 2007.
Vusal Abbasov, the Deputy Director of Alfa, informed Trend that the results of insurance within the program on mortgage crediting in 2006 reached $4,415, and $1,815 in December, 2007.
.In January, 2007, Alfa presented 8 additional insurance packages, which included insurance polices of the property-subject of mortgage, etc.
The rate on property insurance of Alfa was 0,23-0,35% out of its total cost. The rate on life insurance reached 0,35% - 0,5%. The insurance company presented 30 polices for needs of mortgage crediting.
