Kazakhstan plans to enter K4 and K5 environmental classes of motor gasoline and diesel fuel to its market in January 1, the press service of the Kazakh Energy Ministry said in a message.
The transition will be carried out in accordance with the technical regulations of the Customs Union "On the requirements for automobile and aviation gasoline, diesel and marine fuel, jet fuel and fuel oil."
In this regard, the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan recommends the petroleum importing companies to import products corresponding to the K4 and K5 ecological classes.
Moreover, the requirement on production and output of petroleum products of K4 and K5 environmental classes will also apply to the Kazakh producers of low-yield petroleum products.
