It is good that oil is put up for sale at the Iran Energy Exchange, but because the oil prices have decreased in the world market, buyers suffer losses, Homayoun Darabi, an investments market expert, said in an interview with ILNA.
He said the sale of oil has become difficult for the Iranian government as well, and the way to get foreign currency in exchange for oil is almost closed for the government; however, it can create a parallel channel for the sale of oil.
The expert said the Iranian government has agreed that revenues from oil sale are paid as food products and medicines.
