Turkmenistan entered the TOP 10 countries with the cheapest gasoline in 2020 according to Globalpetrolprices, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal information portal.
According to Globalpetrolprices, Turkmenistan ranks second among the CIS countries and tenth in the world.
One liter of A-95 gasoline costs 1.5 Turkmen manat ($0.43) in Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan’s export volume of ECO-93 gasoline increased by more than 2 times from January through October 2020 compared to the same period in 2019.
At the same time, Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern increased the production of gasoline from natural gas by 3.6 times from January through November 2020.
The demand for Turkmen gasoline is growing. In particular, the main importers of Turkmen gasoline are the UK, Russia, Denmark, Bulgaria, Georgia, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan.
Turkmenistan has exceeded expectations of oil and gas condensate production from January through November 2020.
The estimates of oil and gas condensate production were exceeded by 0.6 percent, oil refining – by 2.1 percent, gasoline production – by 3.9 percent, diesel fuel production – by 5.4 percent.
Also, the plan for natural and associated gas production was exceeded by 0.4 percent, gas exports – 0.2 percent, and investment development - by 6.2 percent.
Thus, the growth rate of liquefied gas production from January through November 2020, compared to the same period last year was 22.4 percent.
