A compressor for diesel hydrogen filtration unit (GHDS) of the Tehran Oil Refining Company of Iran has been installed and was launched, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
According to the report, due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the specialists of the Austrian LMF Company, that is the manufacturer of the compressor, were unable to visit Iran.
Therefore, the compressor was installed by specialists of the Tehran Oil Refining Company and Tajhiz arg-e-parsian Company (TAPCO) with help of specialists of Austrian LMF Company, who participated in the process online.
If this compressor requires repair, it would cost some $1.06 million.
“As a result of the operation of the diesel hydrogen filtration unit, $265,000 worth of products will be produced daily by consuming 5,300 barrels of fuel (crude oil),” the report said.
The product of the diesel hydrogen filtration unit of Tehran Oil Refining Company meets the Euro 5 standard and its sulfur content is less than 10PPM, the report said.
Iran's Tehran Oil Refining Company currently daily produces 7 million liters of gasoline, 5 million liters of kerosene in accordance with Euro 4, 13 million liters of diesel in accordance with Euro 4, as well as other petroleum products (solvent, liquid nitrogen, etc.).
