BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. As many as 3 electricity facilities at a cost of 2 trillion rials (about $47.6 million) will be put into use in Hormuzgan Province (southern Iran), as a part of government week in Iran (August 24 through August 30, 2022), Executive Director of Hormozgan Regional Electric Company Farhad Adinepour said, Trend reports citing Iranian Energy Ministry.

According to Adinepour, a total of 1.25 trillion rials (about $29.7 million) has been spent on a substation that will supply 60 ampere electricity to Gamberon industrial park.

The director also added that 63-kilovolt power lines were laid on the 8-km road between Qeshm city and Qeshm Dayrestan International Airport. In this regard, 800 billion rials (about $19 million) has been spent.

“Furthermore, a 4 km long power line was laid in Hormozgan Province to connect the 230-kilovolt Bandar Abbas F class turbine power station to the province’s power network. A total of 250 billion rials (about $5.95 million) has been spent in this direction,” he said.
