Assets of Azerbaijani insurance company increase

Total assets of the Azerbaijani insurance company Gunay Insurance for the first half of 2019 amounted to 13.111 million manats, which is 2.8 percent more than at the beginning of the year, Trend reports referring to the company’s financial report.
In the structure of assets, long-term assets for six months increased 1.5 times, amounting to 5.798 million manats, in which the major part accounted for the investment in real estate worth 2.858 million manats. Financial assets amounted to 2.168 million manats.
The volume of short-term assets for the six months decreased by 23 percent, reaching 7.312 million manats, including cash and cash equivalents of 6.561 million manats. Accounts receivable decreased by 1.22 percent, amounting to 510,679 manats.
In 1H2019, the charter capital of the company remained unchanged and amounted to 7.7 million manats. Total capital increased by 5.6 percent to 8.329 million manats.
The total liabilities for the reporting period decreased by 1.83 percent, amounting to 4.781 million manats. Most of the liabilities accounted for long-term liabilities of 4.323 million manats, decreasing by 2.8 percent. Short-term liabilities of the company for the first half of the year amounted to 457,726 manats.
