Movable and immovable property appropriated by Georgian Liberty Bank in the third quarter of 2020 amounted to 33,530 lari ($10,368.46) compared to 54,770 lari ($16,936.49) in the same period of last year, Trend reports via Georgian media.
It’s worth mentioning that the total assets of Liberty Bank in the corresponding period reached 2.76 billion lari ($853.4 million).
In the third quarter of 2019, the bank’s total assets amounted to 2.07 billion lari ($640.1 million).
According to the data for the third quarter of 2020, the movable and immovable property appropriated by the five largest banks such as Georgia Bank, TBC, Liberty Bank, VTB Bank, and Basisbank amounted to 213.62 million lari ($66.05 million).
The Liberty Bank, formerly the People's Bank of Georgia is a private bank in Georgia, the third-largest in the country by total assets with a 5.6 percent market share as of June 2017. It has the largest network of branches in Georgia.
