BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. The volume of funds received by Azerbaijan grew in the first half of 2022, Trend reports via the review of the monetary policy of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

According to the CBA, this figure reached 1.12 billion, up by 2.3 times in annual terms.

Besides, in the first half of this year, the inflow of investments in the fixed capital of Azerbaijan by foreign enterprises and organizations continued. So, the volume of investments from external sources exceeded 1.6 billion in manat equivalent ($940 million), which is 25.5 percent of the total investment in the country's fixed capital.

Most of the funds allocated for fixed capital by foreign countries and international organizations in the reporting period fell on investors from the UK, Türkiye, the US, Japan, Switzerland, Russia, France, India, Iran and Norway, added the review.
