BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 8. The National Depository Center of Azerbaijan made coupon payments on the bonds of the Embafinance CJSC non-bank credit organization, Trend reports citing the Center.
According to the source, the overall amount of payments accounted for 37,500 manat ($22,031).
In 2022, the National Depository Center opened 2,113 new accounts for investors, and their total number reached 119,623 (2,064 of the new accounts were for resident investors, while 49 – were for non-residents).
In particular, 1,908 of the new resident accounts were owned by individuals, whereas 156 accounts – were by legal entities. Meanwhile, 44 of the new accounts of non-residents belonged to individuals, while five of them – were to legal entities.
The National Depository Center public entity is an integral part of the national depository system. The center is aimed to arrange and manage the depository's activity, which is engaged in holding securities, registering property rights and other rights to them, as well as in providing services related to transactions in securities in the Azerbaijan Republic.
