Azerbaijan's Delta Telecom company will install new Google server platforms in its additional hubs, the company told Trend.
The company said an appeal on this issue has already been sent to Google, for which an approval has already been received.
Currently, five Google server platforms have been installed in DATA center of the Delta Telecom company which provide quick access to the services of Google for Azerbaijani users, as the results are processed with greater speed. The servers have a bandwidth throughput of 10 gigabits, which covers the needs of the internal segment of AzNET.
"We have placed an order with Google on supply of server platforms for our additional points within the country. The update of platforms is carried out periodically. The available capacity allows to meet the needs of the internal segment of AzNET, and there is no urgent need to install terabit platforms, as the internal volume of traffic consumption does not exceed 300 gigabits," the company said.
Google does monthly and quarterly analysis, and predicts the level to which the consumption of Internet content in Azerbaijan may increase. Delta Telecom uses the same scheme. The number of servers is increased depending on this growth of consumption.
