In January-February 2019, the production of computers, electronic and optical goods, as well as electrical equipment in Azerbaijan amounted to 33.8 million manats in total terms, Trend reports referring to the report of the State Statistical Committee.
Over the year, production of computers, electronic and optical goods increased by 37.8 percent, amounting to 8.05 million manats in total terms, while electrical equipment decreased by 24 percent, amounting to 25.77 million manats.
According to the report, the country produced 18,257 units of equipment for measuring the level of liquids and for testing liquids (a 25-percent increase over the year), 1,442 devices and equipment for automatic regulation and control (a twofold increase), 2,400 units of radio and television equipment (a 20-percent increase), 7,513 parts for electrical equipment for distribution and control (a 75.2-percent decrease), 274.5 tons of 1,000-volt electrical wires (a 58.3-percent decrease), 126.5 tons of single-voltage electrical wires (a 2.1 times growth), and 100 household refrigerators (a 48.5-percent decrease).
As of March 1, 2019, there were 50 units of equipment for measuring the level of liquids and for testing liquids in warehouses, along with 93 devices and equipment for automatic regulation and control, 904 units of radio and television equipment, 3,352.5 tons of 1,000-volt electric wires, 4,087 single-voltage electric wires in warehouses, and 912 household refrigerators.
