Turkey expanding its presence in Azerbaijani e-commerce market

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Aug. 25

Turkey is working on improving shipping and payment options to improve service in the Azerbaijani e-commerce market, Hakan Cevikoglu, director general of Turkey's Epttavm.com e-commerce platform, told Trend.

"We plan to start to implement our projects in 2020-2021," director general said.

Earlier, in an interview with Trend, Cevikoglu spoke about the planned cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan in the field of e-commerce.

“Two Turkish online platforms will enter the Azerbaijani market soon,” Cevikoglu stressed. “One of them will feature only Turkish products.”

Epttavm.com is an e-commerce project of the Turkish PTT postal operator.

The Turkish Post is the state-owned Turkish logistics company, the postal operator of the national postal network. The Turkish Post, founded in the first half of the 19th century, is a member of the Universal Postal Union (UPU).

The Turkish Post carries out all types of postal operations, renders the services to the population and works with postal services worldwide.
