Trend:

About 40 percent of the vehicles manufactured within the cooperation between Azerbaijan’s Ganja Automobile Plant and Belarusian companies fall on the locally assembled products, director of the plant Bagban Nabiyev said in an interview with the Russian media, Trend reports.

“The new assembly lines have been installed at the plant since March 2007,” Nabiyev said. “The production of tractors of various brands and eight models of MAZ trucks has begun.”

"The 10,000th tractor was assembled at our plant in 2018,” director of the plant said. “As of March 1, 2021, about 12,000 tractors of various models and 143 special-purpose tractors were assembled at the plant and used. Over 10,000 pieces of equipment of that volume were sold to Agroleasing OJSC on the basis of the state order, the rest ones - to farmers and entrepreneurs."

“Some 30-40 percent of vehicles account for locally assembled vehicles,” Nabiyev said. "In accordance with a bilateral agreement signed with the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, our plant began to produce heavy-duty tractors in 2014. To date, 30 such vehicles have been already assembled.”

“A contract was signed with the Bobruisk plant of tractor parts and assemblies in 2014 and production of the MTZ 422 and MTZ 622 mini tractors began,” director of the plant said.

“To date, 84 pieces of such equipment have been assembled,” Nabiyev said. “In case of orders, we can continue assembling such mini tractors. Our plant signed another agreement with the Belarusian MAZ corporation in 2015. Four MAZ intercity buses with 26 seats and a total capacity of 72 passengers operating on liquefied gas were experimentally assembled."

“The plant signed a bilateral agreement with the Belarusian Gomselmash OJSC in 2019, according to which the plant began assembling PALESSE KZS-575 grain harvesters,” director of the plant said. “To date, nine combines were assembled at the plant.”

“The process of assembling modern E-321 electric buses was launched in 2019 within the bilateral agreements signed between our plant and the Belarusian Belkommunmash OJSC,” director of the plant said. “Four electric buses have been assembled so far. The E-321 electric bus is very environmentally friendly, economical with 26 seats and a total capacity of 83 passengers.”

“An electric bus is equipped with air conditioning, information monitor and video surveillance system,” Nabiyev said. “The battery of the electric bus allows to move at a speed of up to 60 km / h, it is fully charged and restored within six minutes from RGZP / G / 300KW 600V-EN charging station in city mode.”

“The Ganja Automobile Plant operates on the basis of orders,” Nabiyev added. “If there are orders, we can assemble cranes, heavy trucks and other Belarusian equipment.”
