"A new road will be built between Khorgos and Almaty. The trade turnover with China will increase. An airport, new houses and infrastructure will be built in Khorgos. We will open new corridors which link this city with Almaty," Nazarbayev said.
According to the President, after the launch of the constructing railway line Khorgos-Zhetygen, the cargo traffic to China will increase to 50 million tons.
"It is very important for Kazakhstan's economy development and will give opportunity to enhance our activity in the big market of China," Nazarbayev said.
