An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale was recorded in Eastern Kazakhstan region on Monday, reported on website of European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
An earthquake occurred on at 22:38 p.m Astana time in the Eastern Kazakhstan, said in report. The epicenter was located 227 kilometers east of Alma-Ata.
There is no information about victims or damages.
