A new plant for production of gasoline meeting Euro-5 standard will be launched in Kazakhstan's West Kazakhstan region in 2015, Kazinform reported.

The announcement was made by the head of West Kazakhstan region Nurlan Nogayev at the briefing in the Central Communications Service in Astana on Oct. 3.

"In 2015 it is planned to launch two new projects worth 30.4 billion tenge (181.9 tenge =$1)," he said.

The plant for production of Euro-5 gasoline is being implemented by "Kondensat" company.

The other project which will be launched in 2015 is an oil refinery with capacity of 200,000 metric tons per year.

Until the end of 2014 two more projects worth 4.2 billion tenge which provide jobs to 360 people will be into operation the West Kazakhstan region.
