ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 6. Turkish company Tiryaki Agro will build a plant for the deep processing of agricultural products in Kazakhstan, Trend reports.

This was mentioned during a meeting between the business's general director, Suleyman Tiryakioglu, and the acting chairman of the board of Kazakh Investment JSC (Kazakhstan's national enterprise), Jandos Temirgali.

According to Tiryakioglu, the company has already finished the pre-investment market analysis process and aims to invest around $200 million in the design and construction of the facility in the first stage.

"At the outset, it is planned to produce "live" gluten, native and modified starches, and animal feed from wheat and peas." "It is also planned to produce glucose, fructose, gluten, and protein," he added.

The Turkish company sees great potential for exporting products with a high level of processing.

In turn, Jandos Temirgali noted that Türkiye is an important partner of Kazakhstan, having implemented more than 65 projects worth $2.8 billion over the years of independence.

Tiryaki Agro is a leading Turkish company with a turnover of over $2.5 billion that is engaged in the processing and sale of agricultural products such as legumes, grains, nuts, and oilseeds, as well as the production of animal feed and organic products.
