(gazeta.kz) - A presidential park is planned to be opened in Astana on an area of 23.7 hectares by the Capital Day, Askar Mamin, mayor of Astana, said.
"By the Capital Day the first phase of the park on an area of 23.7 hectares will be opened," - Mr. Mamin said at a meeting in the Astana city council with participation of the Prime Minister and the government members. "Also by the Capital Day a park "Zheruiyk" on an area of 21 hectares and an ethnographic park "Arai" on an area of 30.8 hectares will be opened," - the mayor added.
Besides, this year 9 squares with a total area of 30.8 hectares will be built. Last year 7 squares with a total area of 13.6 hectares were completed, reports Trend.
