Manas Transit Center refutes rumors of an alleged terrorist act at the airbase on August 8.
"Information about the terrorist attack allegedly committed at Manas Center is baseless unsubstantiated rumors," the press service of Manas said on Friday, KyrTAG reports.
The press service also noted that, according to the plan, the Manas Transit Center conducts monthly exercise to support the readiness of personnel for emergencies.
Information about the attempt to commit the terrorist act (other sources say committed) on August 8 in the U.S. air base in Bishkek was spread by separate media referring to foreign sources, which even reported casualties from the U.S. side.
