Market services in the amount of 218.8 billion soums ($20.8 million) were provided in Uzbekistan in 2020, Trend reports referring to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the nominal volume of market services increased by 25.1 billion soums ($2.4 million) compared to the same period last year. It was noted that the growth rate for market services provided in 2020 amounted to 2.3 percent.
In the stricture of economic activity, the largest volume of market services provided in Uzbekistan in value terms accounts for trade sector. Market services worth 56.5 billion soums ($5.4 million) were provided in this sector of Uzbekistan’s economy.
At the same time, volume of market services provided in transport and finance sectors accounted for 53.8 and 45.8 billion soums ($5.1 and $4.4 million). Significantly less market services were provided in communication and information sector – 12.9 billion soums ($1.2 million).
In addition, market services in education sector accounted for nine billion soums ($857,474), real estate related – six billion soums ($571,649), individual services and architecture, engineering surveys, technical testing and analysis services - five billion soums ($476,374), rent services – 4.2 billion soums ($400,154), repair of computers and household goods – 3.4 billion soums ($323,934), and service in healthcare sector – 3.2 billion soums ($304,789).
Also, volume of market services provided in other spheres of Uzbekistan’s economy amounted to eight billion soums ($762,199).
