Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad has cancelled his visit to Turkey's central Anatolian Konya province, Anadolu Agency reported.
Earlier, it was stated that Ahmadi-Nejad would participate in Seb-i Arus ceremonies in Konya as the guest of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Diplomatic sources said that Ahmadinejad would not be able to attend the ceremonies due to another schedule.
Iranian diplomats also confirmed the cancellation of Iranian president's visit.
Seb-i Arus ceremonies take place every year in order to commemorate Jalal al-Din Rumi in Konya
