Haddad-Adel re-elected as Majlis speaker for 3rd term in Iran

Gholam-Ali Haddad Adel was re-elected here Wednesday as Majlis speaker for a third consecutive term.

He took 150 votes out of a total of 257, while his closest rival, Hassan Sobhani, from Damghan obtained 97 votes, reports Trend.

In last year's voting for the post of Majlis speaker, Haddad Adel obtained 160 out of a total of 255, while in the previous year he took 266 out of a total of 226.
