The railway and passenger companies' issue of providing a guarantee to agent banks for advances has been resolved, said the Minister of Road and Urban Development.
The following advances for companies that affected by global pandemic would remain the same, said Mohammad Eslami, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
"The issue of some railway companies including RAJA that did not have the possibility to guarantee wagon ownership has been recently resolved," he said.
The renovation of the railway fleet would continue in the current Iranian year. All the railway fleets including passenger and cargo wagons and locomotives were produced domestically and 1,500 new fleets would be added to the country's railway network in the current Iranian year.
