Nicos Anastasiades, the leader of the Democratic Rally Party (DISY), won a comfortable majority in Cypriot presidential elections on Sunday, final results showed.
With all the votes counted, Anastasides had 57.48 per cent of the vote, compared with his left-wing communist AKEL rival Stavros Malas, with 42.52 per cent, dpa reported.
Absentee voting stood at 18.42 per cent of the total.
