Fire that broke out on the Kirkuk-Yumurtalik pipeline in the Turkish Sirnak has been extinguished, Botas State Pipeline Company told Trend.

Fire that broke out on the Kirkuk-Yumurtalik pipeline in the Turkish Sirnak has been extinguished, Botas State Pipeline Company told Trend.

Three explosions took place on the Kirkuk-Yumurtalik pipeline which transports oil from Iraq to Turkey, in the Turkish Sirnak during the night, the Hurriyet newspaper reported earlier.

As Botas told Trend, according to preliminary data, the explosions were arranged by militants of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party.

"Oil supply was temporarily suspended as a result of the explosion," Botas said without specifying when it will be restored.
