Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the chairman of the Turkish opposition Republican People's Party, doubts of the successful outcome of the first round of talks on the establishment of the coalition government, the Turkish agency Anadolu said July 10.

"The first round of negotiations will not bring any results," he said. "But it is possible that good results will be achieved in the second round."

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave an official commission for the prime minister to form the government.

Kilicdaroglu's party put forward the conditions for the formation of a coalition government with the Justice and Development Party in June. According to the terms, the leader of the Republican People's Party must head the country's government within two years.

Moreover, according to the terms, one of the members of the Republican People's Party was to lead the Turkish parliament.

The opposition also called for appointing the minister of justice, interior minister and education minister among the MPs from the Republican People's Party.

Turkey held parliamentary election June 7, which involved 20 political parties. Over 53 million people cast ballots in this election.

The coalition government should be formed in Turkey, within 45 days after announcing the results of the parliamentary election.

As a result of the parliamentary election, the ruling Justice and Development Party garnered 40.9 percent of the votes, the Republican People's Party (CHP) - 25 percent, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) - 16.3 percent, the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) - 13.1 percent.
